Why not try YNot at Intercontinental Dubai Marina? Here’s why…

In case you’re thinking of going to Ynot, I’ve got a list of reasons why you SHOULD go to YNot:

  1. It’s pretty empty, so if you’re looking for a super quiet place where you’re the only one present along with one server and one chef, this might just be it.
  2. Even though the beef sliders weren’t my favorite, the brioche buns were the bomb dot com
  3. The sweet potato fires and aioli should have come with the Lay’s/Ruffle’s slogan. As soon as I put one in my mouth, I was already reaching for another and I just couldn’t stop–almost as if I was under a spell!
  4. The Chilean Seabass Roulade with thai beetroot consomme, nori and pickles.
  5. The Cornfed Baby Chicken with leeks and risotto that tasted actually cheesy.
  6. The grilled Rib-Eye with creamy mushroom sauce, garlic chips and confit potato.
  7. The passionfruit Eton’s Mess

There are however a couple of reasons why NOT to go to YNot as well:

  1. The Tiramisu. I don’t know how that can even be called a Tiramisu. To put it mildly, it looked better than it tasted. To put it harshly, it was a runny, totally watery and  I was digging around to see if there even are any ladyfingers in there.

7:1 isn’t too bad a ratio, is it? I can’t help but still prefer Marina Social and Accents though. Sorry :/
